Not to be confused with an "albino" lion, the white lion is a rare color mutation of the Timbavati area. White lions are the same as the tawny African lion (Panthera leo krugeri) found in some wildlife sanctuaries in South Africa and in zoos around the world.
Until 2009, when the first white lion pride was reintroduced into the wild, it was widely believed that the white lion could not survive in the wild. It is for this reason that a large part of the white lion population is now kept in zoos.
This freestanding stuffed lioness adds just that little bit more to your interior. It makes your interior eccentric and gives it an incredible character.
